    2. Delivery Policy – ACs
      1. Service currently available for Jeddah, AlMadinah, Riyadh, Dammam, Khobar, Dhahran, Buraidah & Onaizah.
      2. Delivery to cities/areas other than the above ones will be subject to extra charges.
      3. If the AC was purchased without Installation, the Delivery takes up to 3 working days.
      4. If the AC was purchased with Installation, the delivery & installation will take up to 5 working days.
      5. The company is not responsible for any delay caused by the customer.
      6. Delivery & Installation arrangements shall not be initiated till all amounts are fully paid.
      7. Ensure an authorized person is present at the time of receiving the agreed order/installation. In case of no-show, YORK will not leave any product/parts on site. The customer will be solely responsible for contacting us for rescheduling delivery & installation, if applicable.
    3. Delivery Policy – Spare Parts
      1. Service currently available for Riyadh, Jeddah, AlMadinah, Dammam, Khobar Dhahran, Buraidah, Onaizah, AlRas & Al Bukayriyah.
      2. Service not included in online purchases outside the above-mentioned areas.
      3. Delivery takes between 3-4 working days, starting after 24 hours from the payment date.
      4. The company is not responsible for any delay caused by the customer.
      5. Delivery arrangements shall not be initiated till all amounts are fully paid.
    4. Cancellation Policy
      Before delivery
      A customer can cancel the order for any of the following reasons:
        1. Our inability to provide/deliver the required product/service within a reasonable period, which is (7) working days from the day the order is confirmed.
        2. The customer no longer desires/requires the product/service.
      Cancellation Terms:
      1. For full or partial cancellations, customers can call the unified Customer Care Number 8001242240 from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Sunday to Thursday (except during official Saudi holidays). A customer can also cancel when YORK Installer calls to schedule the delivery & installation date/time for ACs & Air Purifier.
      2. Upon cancellation & prior order delivery, an administrative fee of 5% from the total purchase amount will be charged.
      3. Upon cancellation & after order delivery & before order receipt, an administrative fee of 5% from the total purchase amount will be charged in addition to 100 SAR for the delivery costs.
      4. We reserve the absolute right to match the time your order was shipped with the time you submitted the cancellation request.
      5. Upon cancellation, the due amount will be refunded within 14 working days from receiving the cancellation request.
      6. Cancellation requests will not be accepted after the customer has received the order.
    5. Return & Refund Policy
      After delivery
      Customer can return/replace the order (fully or partially) for any of the following reasons:
        1. A defect in the product, or manufacturer defect.
        2. Product was damaged during delivery.
        3. Incorrect product/order delivery.
        4. There will be no additional charges for the shipping service or bank transfer fees in each of the above cases.
      Other reasons:
        1. If the customer does not desire the product within 3 working days from the delivery date.
        2. In this case, an amount of SAR 100 will be deducted for the delivery costs, in addition to 5% as administrative fees from the total purchase amount for ACs & air purifiers. As for Spare Parts, shipping & delivery costs will be deducted in full, in addition to a 5% administrative fee from the total purchase amount.
        3. Customer’s desire to replace the product with another product/specifications, maximum within 10 days from payment date, or within a maximum of 7 days from the order’s delivery date. As for Spare Parts, replacement requests will be received within 7 working days from the order payment date, or 3 working days from the order’s delivery date.
        4. If the replacement is based on the customer's desire, he will bear the difference in the product price & shipping costs.
        5. In case of a manufacturing defect in the product, the Customer may request a refund & return the product within 7 days of receiving the product. After the 7 days, the customer can only request the replacement of the product.
      Return & Replacement Conditions:
      1. The purchase invoice or delivery note must be attached.
      2. The product must be in its original condition, sealed as purchased, with all accessories, instruction booklets attached, proper packaging & all labels unremoved - if any.
      3. Returns or replacements will not be accepted for scratches products, or damaged due to misuse or miss-storage.
      4. We reserve the right to approve or not approve any return or replacement request a return if the products don’t meet the abovementioned criteria.
      5. In case of any malfunction noticed on the ACs & air purifier, the customer should report it by contacting Customer Service. The maintenance team will contact the customer to check the product & make a technical report on the device's status. If it becomes clear that the product has a manufacturing defect or was damage during delivery, we will contact the customer within a maximum of 48 hours from the date of receiving the inspection report, in order to return or replace the product as soon as possible, without any additional cost to the customer.
      6. In case of any malfunction noticed on the Spare Parts, the customer should report it by contacting Customer Service within 3 days for the order’s delivery date. The delivery representative will contact the customer to take the part for a technical inspection within 5 working days from receiving the reported part. If the technical inspection proved no defect in the part, we reserve has the right to refuse to return or replace the part. The customer will bear the shipping costs & the inspection fees, in advance. If the inspection result proves that there is an irreparable manufacturing defect, the advanced inspection fees will be refunded to the customer.
      7. All compressors are not returnable or replaceable after being welded to the AC Unit. Thus, the customer's technical team must inspect the compressor before welding.
      8. No return or replacement request is accepted if the unit / part is in the installation process or has already been installed.
      9. If the customer desires to return the product, the due amount will be refunded within 14 working days of receiving the ACs or air purifier, & within 14 days from the date of receiving the inspection results for Spare Parts.

    7. Installation Policy – ACs
      1. The basic installation does not include any civil or electrical works. If additional work is required, the fees will be as follows (without VAT):
        1. Product price includes delivery only. Installation service &/or copper pipes can be added if desired.
        2. For Split Units, the fee for the additional extension is 70 SAR Max. per meter.
        3. For Split Units, the fee for the outdoor unit base is 60 SAR Max. per base.
        4. For Split Units, the fee for removing the old unit(s) is 100 SAR per unit.
        5. For Window ACs, the fee of removing the old unit(s) is 50 SAR per unit.
        6. For Free stand Units, the fee for the additional extension is 100 SAR Max. per meter.
        7. Free Stand units, the fee for removing the old unit(s) is max. 230 SAR per unit.
        8. For Free stand Units, the fee for the outdoor unit base is 120 SAR Max. per base.
        9. For Free stand Units, the fee for the indoor unit base is 80 SAR Max. per base.
        10. The cost of renting scaffolding is 100 riyals for each floor of scaffolding.
        11. The customer shall bear the cost of the crane, when required.
        12. In case of an existing extension, the distance between the copper pipes & the ceiling must be 40 cm. there will be additional fees of 100 riyals for cracking work.
        13. Drainage work, & any additional arrangements for safe access to install outdoor units, will require additional fees as agreed with the AC installer.
      2. The installation warranty period is 12 months from the installation date; including installation defects & faults.
      3. The installation of ACs does not include any painting, plumbing, establishing, extending electricity or installing a Trunk.
      4. The AC installation contractor is not responsible for the specifications & quality of the pipes & drain lines, if they are pre-installed.
      5. The AC installer will always work according to the (YORK) installation manual. If the customer insists on installing in contravention of the aforementioned guide, or best practices, we will not bear any responsibility for any decrease in the unit(s) performance efficiency.
      6. The customer bears the responsibility of selecting the right cooling capacity for the ACs; therefore, we shall not be responsible for any decrease in performance due to incorrect selection of the suitable cooling capacity for the space.
      7. The installer shall test all installed AC units for primary operation.
      8. The installer will submit an installation report after the completion of the works, signed by the customer & the installer.
      9. The installation site for the outdoor unit(s) must be safe, with easy access for the installer or the maintenance team. If the installer/maintenance team found the site to be unsafe upon their arrival, the customer has the right to cancel the purchase. In this case, an administrative fee of 5% of the total purchase amount will be deducted.
      10. If the unit(s) are installed in an area that does not meet the condition of safe access, the maintenance team will not be able to service the outdoor unit(s).
      11. Some cases in which the condition of safe access to Outdoor units is not met:
        1. Installation at a height of more than 3 meters without providing a scaffold.
        2. Installation on building roofs that do not have an iron fence.
        3. The presence of exposed electrical wires at the site exposing technicians to the risk of electric shock.
        4. Installation on the roofs of buildings that do not have stairs to ensure the safety of users.
        5. Installation on hard-to-reach surfaces that expose technicians to danger.
        6. Installation on the roofs of the building equipped with iron fences, but the range of movement is narrow, and the maintenance team cannot use the tools and do the necessary work.
    8. Payment Policy
      Payment Methods:
        1. Credit Card: by using the Internet merchant account directly through YORK checkout by providing the payment gateway account information.
        2. Bank Transfer: If payment is done through bank transfer: regarding ACs & Air Purifier, it will take 2 working days to assure the amount is received, & then delivery & installation will take up to 7 working days from the date of receiving the amount. As for Spare Parts, the delivery time is subject to the availability of the parts.
        3. SADAD: Please note that SADAD’s Rules & Regulations shall apply.
        4. Mada: Please note that Mada’s Rules & Regulations shall apply.
        5. Bank Installment Programs: We partnered with the largest banks in KSA to provide installment solutions with 0% interest up to 12 months for your convenience. To find out more, check the Terms & Conditions page for Bank Installments.
        6. Tabby: A new way to pay in installments by dividing the total order amount into 4-interest free monthly payments, where only 25% of the total order amount is paid upon checkout ad the rest is paid later through Tabby’s App or Website.

    9. Warranty
      1. The warranty period varies depending on the product type.
      2. The product warranty period starts from the invoice date.
      3. If any malfunction appears in the product during the warranty period, please call our unified Customer Care Center number at 8001242240 from Sunday to Thursday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

    10. Disclaimer
      1. Our Return Policy is subject to change without notice but will not affect any purchase order accepted by us prior to the date of change.
      2. YORK will not sell your information to a third party.
      3. YORK may contact you for future promotions.

In no case shall YORK be liable for any special, direct, indirect, consequential, or incidental damages or any damages whatsoever, whether in an action of contract, negligence or other tort, arising out of or in connection with the use of the Service or the contents of the Service. YORK reserves the right to make additions, deletions, or modification to the contents on the Service at any time without prior notice.

      6. Customer acknowledges that all copyrights & other intellectual property rights made available on the website, any drawings & text, scripted or unscripted text or any other materials or information are owned by YORK, & the Customer shall not claim the contrary now or in the future.
      7. Customer shall not infringe or attempt to infringe, either directly or indirectly, any copyrights or any other intellectual property rights of YORK as the rights’ owner of the website, now or in the future, in any country.
    11. Governing Law
      1. The relationship between YORK & Customers is governed by the laws & regulations applicable in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. In case of any disputes between YORK & Customers, matters shall be resolved amicably. If they fail to reach a settlement, the dispute shall be referred to the Competent Judicial Authorities in Jeddah City, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
    12. Indemnity
      1. Customers hereby indemnify & hold YORK harmless from & against any & all damages, losses, liabilities, obligations, claims of any kind, taxes thereon, interest or expenses (including, without limitation, attorneys’ fees & expenses) suffered, incurred, or paid, as a result of, in connection any service provided by YORK to the Customer
    13. Warranties
      1. YORK makes no warranties or representations as to its accuracy. YORK assumes no liability or responsibility for any typographical or other errors or omissions in the content on the website.
